So here is Ms. Antoinette's

pre-op picture from today. I took it when I picked her up today. She is such a lovely lady. She was so ready for her life change and was so calm.  I was a bit flustered since I took the wrong way to get to her.  I felt so bad that I couldn't stay with her.   I can't wait to hear how great she did after surgery.

Cira - Girl, you are SUCH a good friend to everyone!!!  She's as pretty on the inside as she is on the out, too!  I talked to her for a good while last night, got her laughing and yes, I got the impression she was thinking, "Lord, let's get ON with this!"   Thank you for taking her.  Hint:  Google directions, NOT Mapquest.  That's how I got lost going to Timbuktu the first time!!!!! I'm hoping to hear something.  If not, I'll probably call her tonight, although I hate to do that. As soon as I know something, I'll let you know!! Hugs, Tia

Hey Tia, She is so sweet I just can't get over how calm she was. She had to tell me a couple of time over the cell to take a deep breath!  LOL It was hilarious when I thought about it when I came home.  lol I will never use mapquest again I hate them!  I will have to try google for now and Gino will have to buy me a GPS!!     I was thinking of trying her cell this evening but if you are going to call then just let me know when you hear something shoot me an email. Hey Cira!  That was soooooooooooooooo nice of you to take her.  Did she have anyone that was coming up tothe Hospital or staying up there  with her?  Is she giving you a call when she gets out of surgery?  Please let her know she is in my prayers. Teri

Hi Teri, I am not sure if there was going to be anyone with her at the hospital.  I do know she has someone to pick her up when she is discharged tho.  I should have told her to call me.  Ugghhhh what was I thinking this morning?

Cira, You are such a good and supportive person.  Antoinette's before picture came out great, and I bet she will love seeing the results when she takes another picture in a few months!  Thanks for keeping us all in the loop.  We have to stick together and support one another in the process.   I have not really thought about getting a ride TO the hospital before surgery. I was just going to drive myself, leave my car there, and when my family picks me up I figured one of them would follow in my car.  I still have time to work out the details anyway, and have friends and family here in Frederick and in Baltimore near the hospital so i'll be fine.   Wait...this isn't about me, it's about Antoinette!  LOL.  I hope she had a safe and succesful surgery and it back here on the OH board soon!  She's on the losers bench now.  Cira when you move out this way, please do not hesitate to contact me if you need anything. 

Hi Jennifer, It was my pleasure to take her. That is what this forum is all about paying forward by supporting our OH family.  She is such a sweetheart I wish I had more time to spend with her before going for her surgery.  If I had not driven the entire loop I would have enjoyed her company for a little while before having to go in.    Yes you should get someone to take you in the morning so you do not have to worry about where leaving your car.  Glad you have friends and family to help you when the time comes.   LOL you crack me up but if there is something you might help with please do not hesitate to post on the forum or contact me or anyone.   Antoinette is doing great and yes on the loser's bench right now Yay! Thank you for everything Jennifer I hope to meet you soon and if I am lost near the hills I will remember to scream out your name for help.  Take care
