Concerns about not getting approval

I have Carefirst BCBS of Md. and I am in my 5th out of 6 months supervised diet.  I am getting a little nervous about not getting approval for my surgery.  I have not done all that great with the dieting these past 5 months and have only lost 3 pounds.  I have been to my primary doctor every month and everything is documented like it is supposed to be.  I have finished with all the other required testing needed prior to surgery.  My question is...has anyone with this same insurance been denied because of insufficient weight loss during your 6 month supervised requirement ? 

I have the same insurance & had the same nervous feelings...i gained during my first 5 months & lost a few at the end. I was approved in 4 days, I did call them each day : ) not sure if that helped but... GOOD LUCK

I have BCBS of Il and I had to go through the supervised dieting as well...I ended up losing a total of 1.5 pounds after it was all through...I was still approved...

To be honest..I didnt try to lose at all.I was afraid if I lost that I would be declined because my BMI would decrease.
