Awkward Moment

I havent had anything to contribute...just kinda waiting for the moment where I actually wont feel like eating everything in site....Soo, Ill just tell you about an awkward moment I had today at work...

Im training a new girl we hired and when she first came in I was thinking that she "acted" familiar...I didnt think I saw her before, but her ways reminded me of someone I knew/once knew...We got to talking and she told me her last name..I said Oh..I dated a boy in HS named....Jeff H.....She said THATS MY EXHUSBAND...I said, black hair, brown eyes, mustache...she said OMG..yes..I said from Randallstown? She said I cant believe this..LMAO...I said he was my first...LMAO...like a frickin idiot....She looked at me and said your Caprice's niece arent you..I said yes....she said small world huh...

TO back track...this girl and I HATED each other 20 years ago...lmao....I was dating her now exhusband and he wanted nothing to do with her...I broke up with him..as teenagers do and they ended up getting married...he is now a deadbeat dad.......THANK GOD IT WASNT ME!!!

Wow - what an experience. Somehow, I am not 100% surprised. I have often felt that this area is like a huge small town. The older I get, the more often I run into people I know.

thank goodness i read this twice and noticed on the second time that you said he is her EX husband.  i thought you told someone that their current husband was your first.  recipe for disaster at work.  LOL

It just goes to show how truly small this world is after all. LOL Ok that just sounded like a Disney Ride but YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN! LOL I met a family off of CL looking to fill one of my open daycare spots last year. When the woman came she was walking around my living room looking at my family pictures. I ask her if everything was okay and she said "You married to Durb?" which is what all my hubbies friends from school call him. He grad GBHS 91. So I said YES and she said "I use to be in love with that guy and tried so many times to get him even after I heard he got married!" OMG....Talk about AWKWARD!!!! LOL I really didnt know what to say.
Im sure you felt like you said too much already huh? LOL That is how I was too and when she started to ask me very personal questions about my hubby I had to cut the interview short. It was just too strange. LOLOLOL So moments like that show us the world is getting smaller and smaller. LOL ~Jilly~

LOL Yikes that IS awkward!  I wonder how your training her will be from here on out.  I'm glad it wasn't you, too!
