CAST AWAY

Does anyone else just love the movie Cast Away with Tom Hanks and Helen Hunt?  I watched this movie last night on cable tv and it makes me cry every time during scene where they finally see each other after 4 years apart. Heck I cry also when he loses Wilson.   It's rare to find a good romantic movie.

I loved Cast Away and cried many times during it.  But that being said I cry over radio commercials on the way to work, so now you know I wear my heart on my sleeve.  My all time favorite movie and one I have seen thousands of times and if it were on right this minute I'd leave this post unfinished and go watch is PRETTY WOMAN.  Any Julia Roberts movie for that matter but I love Pretty Woman. Prince Charming always comes to get us.

OMG I watched Pretty Woman yesterday too!  It was on earlier in the evening.  Great movie, even though Richard gere has such a poker face throughout the movie.  I like he and Julia better in Runaway Bride.    Also I have to say since it focused on obesity and superficiality,
Shallow Hal was a decent flick.  It was comedy and romance in one.  Those huge purple panties cracked me up.

Girl...I HAD those huge purple panties at one time!!! LOL BTW are you coming to the movies today in Hunt Valley? I think I'm skipping the movie, Dad doesn't think he can sit through the whole movie and I want to spend time with him but may come to meet after for a bite to eat. I'll call Darla later this AM after I get to my parent's house. LOOOOOOOOONG drive for me so leaving in a few.

Cast away was a really good movie, I have not seen it a long time.  My favorite is the Bridges of Madison County- I love the area it was filmed in, the setting, the story all of it. If you have never seen it  please do.   There is also an older one from the 80's that was really good and I wish I could find it on DVD it is called Somewhere in Time with Christopher Reeves and Jane Seymour it takes place in New England and Jane plays a star in plays and it involves time travel, so romantic!!!! Speaking of Julia Roberts I know it's not a romance but Sleeping with the Enemy was a really good one as well.

Have a great day!

Hi Teri, Good Morning!
I loved that movie Somewhere in Time.  I like Jane Seymour and who didn't love Christopher Reeves?  I Liked Sleeping with the Enemy too. I still think if it when I straighten my hand towels, LOl!   I did see Bridges too and it was great.  I try to see all movies actually, LOL!  But I can't catch them all unless I want to be unemployed!
