Went to visit Melissa this evening. She looked great and had gotten up to walk a few times. Hopefully her catheter will come out tonight to give her some more freedom in walking in the morning and she should get some liquids in the morning as well. Lucky chick got one of the swanky new bariatric rooms withOUT a roommate! lol She should be in her room for 23 hours after getting IN the room so I assume she'll be released around 1pm Wednesday and I'm sure as soon as she has a few minutes she'll check the boards for all of your well wishes. Welcome to the losers bench Melissa! It's always good to have another bandster sitting with me!

Heather, thanks for keeping us updated. I'm glad to hear Melissa's on the losing side! I'm hoping to get one of those "swanky" rooms myself in 2 weeks.

Hi Nicole! Yes I'm very excited and nervous too. This has been so long in coming that it feels like it's not real. I'm getting butterflies a lot lately in my stomach when I think about it.
