Oh so true those long days outside playing. Especially loved those days when they paved the roads and you got to walk all over the tar and come home with black feet. And slopping in the puddles after it rained. I always try to instill some of those simpler things in my kids and not be one of those uptight parents. They love it, and other look at me like I'm nuts.
