Hey everyone,

I have read that some of you take centrum chewables as your multi-vitamin.  I bought some without looking at the ingredients.  When I did, I noticed the first one is SUCROSE.  I thought we weren't supposed to have sugar?  Can we take it?? Please let me know what you think.  Do I need to get something else?

Thanks
C

Yes you can it is not alot of grams. That is what I took when I was early out of surgery and my nutritionist and surgeon suggested for me to buy them.

I am who I am and accept my feelings wholeheartedly.

at support group, they have mentioned centrum silver chewables.  i'm not sure what makes the silver any different, but that's what they have always said.  you may want to compare.

I've used them when I've run out of the Bariatric Advantage and had to wait for a new shipment.  Never had any problems with them, but I do have a pretty high sugar tolerance for having had an RNY.

The Sinai NUT said they were ok as well.

Good luck.
