Good Sunday Morning!
Yesterday was another WOW moment for me..... We had to do all the school shopping for Gianna who is going to 2nd grade and Little Gino who is starting preschool.
We decided to go to The Prime Outlets on Hagerstown and we wanted to browse all the sales before we committed on buying. We walked all over the place and then went back to the stores that the sale was better. We were there all day. We took a break to take the kids to McDonald's they played and we went back for more. We left the outlets around 8 pm then went to Martinsburg to the Target and Walmart. When we came home the kids were pooped and they bathed and went to bed.
Me, I was feeling tired but great! I could have never ever done this before WLS. I went to ben late watching a movie with hubby around 1:30 am. Here I am with my recharged batteries and ready to go again at 8 am!
I am so thankful to God for giving me this great opportunity & DVR for my tool!!
I hope everyone has a wonderful Sunday.
Enjoy!
I am who I am and accept my feelings wholeheartedly.

WOOT WOOT!! That's an awesome WOW Cira! I'd be recovering still if it were me!
I just ran errands and vegged yesterday. Still feel like I was active more than not. Finished the Twilight book and really enjoyed it. My 13 yo niece wants me to take her to the next movie when it comes out so I figure I better get caught up. I love reading so I opted for the book. Loved it so much I had to run out and get the 2nd installment. :)
Also ended up getting 2 unexpected checks in the mail for unknown overpayments. WOOT!! Couldn't come at a better time, esp since I took the SIL grocery shopping last week and burned out my 'rainy day fund.' Treated myself to a nice pedicure.
Today the sun is OUT in all it's glory and I get to meet some amazing people this afternoon.
I went to a reunion of former co-workers yesterday. Some I have not seen in 14-20 years. Others I have run into from time to time. For the first time, I did not feel like an outsider because of how I looked. I felt like I simply fit in 100% because we all had this common bond of working together for so many years. The event lasted 4 hours and I stood talking the entire time. In the old days, I would have had to sit down after 5-15 minutes! And I would have been dripping in sweat from standing 5-15 minutes. For the most part I was comfortable (I admit my knees were sore - nothing can change the damage done carrying all the extra weight all those years), but it did not seem to matter. I was having so much fun, I did not even think about eating!
Angie - we are going to have to hook you up with Kathy, our Twilight addict - lol! Woo-hoo on the unexpected checks - love that!
Have a glorious day!

I've been house/ dog sitting this weekend and I have been running around
like crazy: I can not abandon my Furbaby because of my sisters dog now can I?
Both dogs are so happy to see me when I get home Mom says Cuddles wanders
around the house looking for me at night LOL poor things doesn't understand
where i am .
Anyway I am so looking forward to this afternoon I stopped by the house to
get some jewelery because I didn't take any to my sisters house with me>
What I don't get is why today I suddenly felt the need to wear it : I usually don't
bother and thats a shame because I do have it to wear.
Anyway Cira I am so sorry you can not come : I need to make a roadtrip to come
visit you soon and bring some of the girls with me.
Have a good day everyone.
Everybody's activities make me feel like a slug!! I've been extremely conservative in my movements, consequently, I'm doing a whole lot of nothing. I know what you mean about wls having given you the opportunity to actually live your life! Yesterday was a long day for me, and normally, it would've taken me a day or two to recovery. Now, although I'm up later than normal for me (thank you, Flexeril), I'm ready to go again!
I've got a busy day - shower, go see Helen, run a couple of errands and then C-R-A-B-S!! Can't wait to see everyone!! Helen told me to bring paper and pen - she's got a message for the board she wants to dictate. THIS should be interesting!! LOL!!
For those of you whom I'll see later - can't wait!! If you can't make it, we'll miss you and look forward to the next get-together. Fall is coming and it'll be time for a trip to the pumpkin farm!
Have a great day!!
Tia
Sounds like a busy day and I hear ya on being able to do so much more after WLS. Even though I'm a little under 11 months out, I'm have this NSV over and over again!
Unfortunately I'm not going to be able to join everyone today for the get together. Mike just told me yesterday evening that his nephew had major surgery on Friday and he wanted to go see him in the hospital. We thought he was at JH Bayview and were going to go see him before we met up with everyone. As it turns out, his surgery was in Wilmington, DE so that nixes that idea...wish I'd known yesterday earlier so that we could have made it all work.

Everyone going have fun...rain check for me!
