Well it has been awhile since i have been on here, but I have been working 2 jobs and the internet is a seldom used product. I took on a job at Tractor Supply part time to get my winter excercise in and yep it works I tend to walk around that store 8-12 miles a day believe me my pedometer doesn't lie plus alot of feed bag lifting. I am officially down from 315 lbs. 2 years ago at the start of 2 weightloss surgeries ( Lapband had to be removed and then insurance paid for the sleeve ) which I wanted in the first place and I weighed in at 219 lbs. as of yesterday. It took me awhile in the 220's because thats the weight I was at when I started gaining weight when I quit smoking.  I have a ton of energy for a just turned 55 year old. I am enjoying my new self and will post some pics later But i hope everyone has a safe and Merry Christmas  I know I will. I also want to say hi to all the new folks here and wish everyone a happy surgery for their new year it works if you help it work.

Congats Michele!! I'm glad your surgery went well and you are on your way to a speedy recovery. I had my surgery Monday morning and was finally able to come home this afternoon (Wednesday). How much pain are you experiencing?? I am fine as long as I am sitting or laying down. But as soon as I stand up, my abdomen is in a lot of pain. The pain does go away once I start walking, but it is still frustrating. I am also feeling nauseaus whenever I drink my liquids which makes it hard to keep them down. I started anti-nausea medicine when I got home, which seems to be helping a lot too.

How are you feeling now that you are over a week out? I am hoping the pain at my incision sites subsides quickly and i'm just concentrating on making sure I take in all of my liquids. And tips you have for me since you have just been though this?

Thank You,
Heather

LOL! Thank you Russel! If you look very closely, you will see Mickey Mouse. I went to Disneyworld at the beginning of December and had the lady at the nail place put a Mickey on there. Now it will be documented for all time. Thanks for noticin. ;)
