Topic: RE: Can anyone give me feedback on Dr. Babak Moeinolmolki from GBMC?
I amnot getting surgey by him,. but by his partner Dr Peter Liao, and they both are very.  I had a tough time deciding which  I wanted to go with so I chose the one who did my orientation.  Dr Mo is serious but very caring and definately keeps himself available to his patients.  The people tat I know that have gone to him have nothing but great things to say about him.  I love the whole GBMC team!  I am getting sleeved on the 27th of January by Dr Liao.

Good luck on finding the information that you need!

Topic: RE: Surgery tomorrow
By now you're probably resting and walking. I just wanted to wish you the best. I had my surgery at GBMC (by Dr. Mo's partner, Dr. Liao) at GBMC just one month ago. I found the hospital and staff to be terrific -- kind and responsive. Hopefully, you're heading home tomorrow. Follow the directions the doctor gave you, and focus on rest, walking, and hydration for the first week. You'll do great!

Hi Shelly! I just wanted to wish you good luck! You'll do great. Be sure to let us know how it went. As for last minute advice, I agree with Linda's advice 100%. You don't need much when you're there but chapstick helps a lot and be sure to stay mobile. It's amazing how much the walking helps the pain and to get things moving. I'm so excited for you! Good luck!

Good luck to you on tomorrow.  My advice would be for you to bring a chap stick for use after surgery because your lips will be so dry.  In addition, once you are allowed get up and walk it really helps with the gas pain.  Walking also help prevent blood clots so after surgery and when you go home walk often and sip sip sip to prevent dehydration.  Please lets us know how you are when you can.  You may be feeling  some periods of anxiety this evening and that is perfectly normal.   I wish  you a speedy recovery.
