I do feel like this place is another world, where there is understanding and a special bond, thanks for taking the time to respond.. I am so inspired and encouraged by hearing everyones ~Journey~ I have my surgeon appt. tuesday wooo.. I am leaning toward lap band as my story states the risks for me I feel its a better choice, but I'm still learning everyday.. never can know enough when you make this kind of choice. and use these kind of tools..
I have Maine Care Disability and I have heard from some posting that it may not cover lap band but does cover gastric bypass.. Anyone KNow I appreciate your time and attention..

So I just wanted to say HI and wish you all the best of luck in your journey. It has felt like a long wait but I only started in February and I am (hopefully) being sent out for insurance approval next week. Hoping for August Surgery...They said that Dr Trieu is moving along quickly with his patients this summer (gosh I hope that's true!)
Shelips- if they refer you to H P Maine in Waterville for your psych eval, give them a day or two to get the referral then call to set up your appointment. I waited, and waited and waited for them (hp maine) to call me and after 3 weeks I called them and they had to search the "drawer" for my referral...I guess they don't feel the need to move in a timely fashion..they also take at least 3 weeks to send in their report...no hurrying them. So far it has been the most irritating part of my process.
Allicca p.s. you do not live that far.. he he hope to meet you as well.

Maybe we'll see each other in the office sometime.
