I am drinking sf hot cocoa. It seems to be the sleeping, sweating, shaking that is getting the best of me. I can drink around 32 ounces or more and i am getting about 20-30 g of protein in right now.

Hi Netti, I had the shakes, shivers and hot flashes too after surgery. It lasted for about 2 weeks for me. I was told it sometimes happens after having anesthesia. I also had the diarrhea for the first week or so after the surgery. So maybe these are symptoms that just certain people experience and not everyone. It sounds like your doing pretty well with the fluids. I still can't get in 32 oz. of anything! In the beginning they don't expect you to get in all the fluids and protein grams that are required. It takes time. Just do the best you can. I'll be praying for you! Blessings, Yvonne
