Does anyone have any "different" ways to cook regular things?  I am finding I am eatting the same ole things day after day and would like to have something tasty to look forward to.  Thanks!!

Tonight I had 1 oz of haddock that I broiled, I spray it with those salad sprays before and while It's cooking. I do the same with chicken. It's really good and very tasty. I also sauteed some onions, peppers and mushrooms with the same dressing to have with it. Noone in my house will eat veggies with me so instead of wasting a whole package of mushrooms or the rest of a pepper or onion I go to the salad bar at the grocery store and get what I want. This morning I got 4 slices of mushroom, 3 pepper strips and 3 slices of onion. It came to a grand total of 46 cents. The woman at the register looked at me funny but who cares, it's better than spending $5 and throwing most of it away. Cheryl

Cheryl, That is an awesome idea!!  Everyone in my house does like veggies, but noone likes the same ones, lol.  I had never thought about going that route...now I just need to find a local grocery store that has a salad bar.... Kim
