my birthday wow

Hi Everyone, I just wanted everyone to know I had the best birthdya I could have ever had. my hubby of 22 years (been together 27) said we could do what ever I wanted for my birthday. This is a man the only place you can take him is out in the wood. I suggested we go to the bangor mall and walk around and try some cloths on. I thought he reaction would be right, he said what ever. Then I thought lets just go to camp in the woods and stay the weekend. But it s really cold and takes about 6 hours to warm the camp up. I said be ready at 2pm we are going to bangor. He was ready to go at 1pm waiting for me. We went to all the stores in the mall. went to CJ Banks tried on about 15 shirts that he stood right out side the door so he could tell me what he thought.( He has never in my life with him ever done that he sits in car drinks beer lol) He picked out these two shirts  I would have never picked out but I tried them on and wow 1x short waisted shirt. they fit and he bought them for me.. Then he suggested we go to kmart and there we went to the shoe department and he bought me a girly pair of shoes (you got to understand im a tom boy only wear sneakers or boots). I tried on 7 1/2 clog and way to big I went down to a 6. I really like them. I really like being able to buy girly stuff this is going to be fun. My sister bought me my first girly coat. it is red with fur around the hood. It is a 16-18 misses I just cant believe how good I feel when I wear these girly stuff.  It was the best birthday I have ever had in my life. Barb

Happy Birthday and CONGRATULATIONS! What a wonderful gift you gave yourself by having the surgery and what a wonderful way for your husband to show how much he really cares and appreciates what you've gone through. It's such a wonderful feeling to try something on and realize that, for the first time in your life, IT'S TOO BIG and you need to drop down a size or two. Knowing you've come this far certainly makes things even more fun as you can now can take real pleasure in shopping for outfits. Keep up the good work!

Hi  Barb Happy Birthday to you and congratualtions. Sounds like my hubby.  But mine went out yesterday and got the christmas tree for me and i didnt have to  nap for him to do it lol. Hey Kathi, should be right there I didnt change it. they changed the size the picture for me on this site. Yes I could go buy more cloths too but I am cheap. Maybe more later after christmas when sale are good.. Have a good one, becareful if you have to drive tomorrow withall the snow Barb

Hi Barb,

I see your old Avatar (with the deer). This morning I saw that awesome new picture of you.  You look great, btw!    I am leaving work tonight at 10pm.  I hear it isn't supposed to start snowing until after midnight.  Hopefully the roads will be clean by the time I have to come into work at 1pm tomorrow afternoon.  I may have to stay home from Curves, though...bummer!!
