Met Dr. Toder
Hello Everyone,
Just wanted to let everyone know I met Dr. Toder today. She was super nice. She is right to the point and doesn't hold any punches (I like that). She told me I was a good candidate for surgery and said they would submit my paperwork for insurance approval. She seemed to think I would have my surgery in February. I was a little disappointed when I got on the scale in her office, I have put on 4lbs. since my last appointment with the nutritionist, which was in October. I was soo nervous she was going to tell me I couldn't have the surgery because of this, but she didn't even bat an eye. Maybe they expect it around the holiday's. Well wish me luck with the insurance approval and hopefully I'll be joining everyone on the losers bench next month.
Ah yes. Michelle Toder is wonderful. I'm hoping to have her also.
I'm glad that she was okay with those 4 pounds. They tell us we don't have to loose weight before surgery but we'd better not gain! I've been afraid I'm going to gain.
I was wondering how long surgery wait is now that they are one doctor less. I was hoping it wouldn't be too long. One month isn't bad although it'll be a very, very long month.
Good luck and congratulations.
Thank you, she never even mentioned the weight gain to me, which was a relief. She made me feel very comfortable. When I left her office I felt like I will be in good hands on the day of my surgery. I wonder if they plan on replacing Dr. Lalor anytime soon? Good luck to you and hopefully it will be not too long before you have your date.
