I'm done shoveling, I can't do it no more.  The snow piles are so high I can't reach and it falls back at my feet or on my head.  My poor dog I've thrown a few shovelfulls on him.  He don't leave my side, I'm surprised I didn't hurt him with the shovel.  MY front windows are totally covered with snow, I can't see outside anymore, I just hope the windows don't break. this is the first winter with these windows/addition/roof, so next year we are getting a snow blower and were going to do the front of the house where the snow falls off the roof (metal).  HOpe you are all warm and comfy today.

I hear ya we have a metal roof as well and its touching th roof now.  All I can say is at least the house is good and banked. Im worried about the windows breaking too.

Where are those plane tickets to the Bahamas, eh? You make me feel like I should complain....mind you, I have plenty of snow - but it's not even close to coming up to my windows.  thank goodness for coastal living, I'm not sure what I'd do if I had to deal with more snow than this....

you know I shouldn't complain.  I have a warm house, good food, loving DH.  I just feel sorry for myself when I'm out side shoveling and all the other woman in my life (sister, sister in laws, neighbors, friends) don't shovel at all, yet manage to tell me they Love snow.  grrrrrr!!!  But that being said.  I'm done my shoveling and salting, till next storm. hehe... Off to cook supper now.  I do love that!!! Where on the coast are you?  can you see the ocean?

I'm in Belfast - I can't see the ocean but if I didn't throw like a girl I'd be able to throw a rock to it - well almost!!!  I also have a small camp in Surry on the ocean. Hmmm and here it was I thought it was only us single girls that had all the women in their lives tell them how they don't have to shovel or clean off their cars.....oh and Cheryl.....I was just outside with my dog - it was spitting snow.....

haha, oh, yes, the Second I sat down and took my boots off, it started spitting snow.  oh, and no, not just singles girls.  I love love love my DH, but he makes me feel like cause I don't work, its my job.  so I feel guilty, but, he works very hard, and is usually limping when he gets home, so I do want to help. but I love staying home and not work, so I do it.  I really don't mind, BUT, I"VE HAD ENOUGH this winter, hehe

I should go out and take a picture of the snow piled up in front of my window hitting the roof. It has not been this bad in many many years. So next year we should get a break from it. PLEASE PLEASE!!!!
