I have one appointment left. The appointment with the surgeon. My last appointment was Feb 21. Will I get the surgeon appointment date and time in the mail? Should I be concerned that it's been 6 days and I haven't heard anything? I was hoping to ask Lynn but she has such short office hours and I'm at work during that time so hopefully someone here can put my mind at ease???

Wahoo - you're getting there girl!!! It was around a week after my nut appointment that I got the date for the surgeon appointment in the mail. So that being said I would expect that you would have it this week. My surgeon's appointment was for about a month later.

I'm not sure if it works the same for everyone, but my last appointment was to get my CPAP machine and once I had it I called Lynn right up to let her know. That was on about November 22nd. She called the surgeon's office and I had my appointment in the mail within two days. I met with Dr. Toder on Jan. 4th. They had my approval from insurance by the following Thursday. Good Luck!!

Hey...what do you two think about the psycologist? My last appointment was with him and I don't like how things went. That's why I'm kinda anxious about getting that surgeon appointment.

I didn't have any problems with the psycologist, but we talked and knew people in common. My problem lays with the nutritionist dept. I'm inferring into what you said that he has passed you to have surgery, if that is the case you shouldn't have any problems. I didn't have to have a cpap - so I don't know if that is different for you.

you're almost there. i can't say what your dr. does but my appointment with the surgeon came after my case was submitted and approved to my insurance. then all he** broke lose. appointment with surgeon and pre-admission at hospital within 2 days. then 4 days later surgery. hang in there. feel free to call them and ask questions. if it's already gone to insurance call them and see where it stands. don't be afraid to ask questions.

You could email Lynn at [email protected]. She is great about answering email. We have had several exchanges back and forth about two different issues. She doesn't mind at all. Email her late at night or early in the morning even and she will respond when she is in the office...almost as soon as she steps in the door. Good luck!

not sure who u will have... my friend got a call last week from lynn with her appt with the surg and then a letter in the mail a few day later.... now as for me i still have to see amanda again to see if i can lose 20 lbs befor she will give everything to lynn . so i can see the surg.. well i wish u best of luck... Amber, wanted to ask how you making out with your 20 lbs. I remember you saying it was a tough strart. HOpe all is well, I watched a surgery being done on tv last night, wow, it was amazing, and I can see why they want us to loose a little especially with our inside organs. Good luck cheryl
