getting to know you, getting

to know alllllll, abouuuuut youuuuuu!!!  We've been doing so many getting to know you fun stuff on here, I feel like i've known you guys for years.  Today I plan on doing a little laundry, shoveling (hubby digging up hot tub), making a good Dinner, paperwork, salting driveway and watching a Nascar race with my little man (yaahooo!!) washing my stinky dogs ears and brushing his teeth.  then going in the HOt tub (first time in like a month).  What are your plans today??

Hmm so far today I have done laundry and dishes fed the kids washed the dog. I plan on snowshoeing if it warms up a little bit.Well I washed the poodle the husky would wash me lol.I need to still clean my kitchen living room area. And MY bedroom closet. How much will I actually get done not sure lol

Cheryl, Hoppy is sooooo cute.  Sounds like you have a busy day ahead of you. I feel like I've been so lazy today compare to what you're doing. All I've done today is shower, eat breakfast and did 2 loads of laundry so far. We went for a night ride on the snowmobiles last night for 3 hours and I'm so sore this morning. I feel like an old, old lady, can barely move. lol But it was so much fun and worth it. lol Only other plans for today are to finish up laundry and pick my daughter up from the high school. She's a cheerleader and they helped out with the peewee kids competition today. Then I'll come back home and relax and get ready for work tomorrow.  Will you use your hot tub when you get it dug out? haha Dori, you got me beat, I havn't taken a shower yet, i've been lazy too, just working in small bits and pieces... we are waiting right now for a contractor to come over and give us an estimate on finishing our addition.  I look like hell, hope he don't get too close. boy, riding after that snow fall must of been so beautiful.

It was a nice ride last night. We had to break the trails here by our house. I got stuck a few times and hubby had to pull me out. lol Once we got down to the old PD and FD here in Oxford the rest of the trails were broken in so it was fun.  Hubby's up on the roof shoveling the workshop and garage. There is no place to put the snow. My windows are all covered up. If we have a fire we won't be able to get out, very scarey. Your room in your picture looks like it's done, what else did you have to do to your addtion? I love your little white woodstove (is it propane?), does it heat good? My inlaws have 3 of them in their house (the propane type) and they work great. We just have a fireplace in the livingroom and we only use it a couple times a year now and we use duralogs, not real wood. Real wood has bugs and I'm not a fan of bugs. lol I'd rather buy the duralogs.  ~dori~

Dori,  much of the addition is not done, the carpenter we hired messed up the walls, floors, cabinets so bad we need to have them fixed.  so before we can even put on a floor things all need to be fixed.  He is trying to sue us, cause he wants his last payment and we aren't giving it to him, cause of the bad job he did.  We are counter sueing him, that is why the new guy is coming over today.

Cheryl, I hope you win. I hope the new guy will be able to get your addition done. I know it's hard when things are left unfinished. We've been remodeling our house for 8 years now. It feels like it will never be done. We've been doing it little by little as we get the money. We've been here 13 years this summer. We moved here (in 1995) the summer before our oldest daughter started kindergarten and she is graduating this June. Time does by so fast, makes me feel old and I'm only 36. lol Hubby has done all the remodeling himself. He was a carpenter before he became a cop. I love his work, but he's always picking at his own work saying he could of done better. ~dori~
