anyone with United Health CAre?

I was reading on the insurance board and read several that have been denied with UHC, so now I'm really worried.  I can't imagine going through all this and being denied.  I understand they have different plans. but I dont' have alot of CO MO's ... I havn't read about alot of denials on the Maine board, so, there has to be one sooner or later. 

I think there are some who have to jump through more hoops then others with ins cos. Just want to wish you luck. I would call Crystal and ask her about it she knows the INS CO's pretty well maybe she can give you a better idea of what to expect.

Hi there, I have UHC. I was approved on my first attempt. It took them 30 days to do it, but on my 43rd birthday I got the word. I had my surgery a little over a year ago. I wish you luck! Darcy

Thank you, I see your from Maine, you should come and join us on the Maine board it is quaint and friendly.  30 day, wow, that is a long time.  did you call and bug them, I see alot of people will do that.  have a great day,  CHeryl

Hi Cheryl, Yes, I am from Maine. I know 30 days is a long time. I did call them, several times. I also have a case manager through UHC because I have rheumatoid arthritis. She also bugged them. They have 30 days to make their decision and they used every second, but when they approved it, it all melted away! That's for sure! Darcy

opps, sorry Darcy, I saw your message on my e mail and I had also posted on the main board so I just assumed you were from there and not the Maine board, sorry, hehe, glad to see you here, and thanks for the info.  I can't wait to melt away!!!
