I don't know anything about  EMMC.  whatever you decide, for what is best for you.  Good luck,  looks like you've done your homework.  Keep in touch........

Somebody had said she was going for training but not totally sure bout that. Good Luck. Can I ask you was it a problem with Dr Loggins himself or just the surgery?? Wishing you the best of luck.

It was with the process.... of having to loose 10% of weight, if I could do that then well I woudln't be in the wls boat!  Also some of the staff seems not to understand what it is like to be struggling. I just didn't feel that they understood. I also asked to talk to him last week several times, and no one returned my calls.... I hopeif it was an emergency things would have been faster!

it is too bad you felt that way about Loggins and his staff.  as for the 10%, some dr's require 2 weeks of liquid diet before surgery in place of the pre op weight loss.  That can also be tough.  So far, in my process,  I think Dr. Loggins & Staff have been wonderful and very helpful.  I wish you luck and lots of success.

Dr. Toder requires a liquid diet 2 weeks before AND 2 weeks after surgery for RNY.  I don't know if sleeve will be the same or not.

They want to make sure you are commited to do this.  Even after the surgery, I am finding I still need to watch things.. I could very easily gain all my weight back.  It isn't a quick fix.   As for not calling you back, that just isn't acceptable.

Dr   Todor is doing training but i suspect   the sleeve is still a few months off before they  start to offer it.  It will probably be  self pay as  insurances dont pay  for it  as of right now.  But that could  change down the road. You can always  Call the   Northeast surgery  office and ask.

BCBS pays for the sleeve.... the code is43843 and the only thing that you would have to do is have 2 co-mobidities if you are less than a 40BMI..... Then once approved you have to go for an out of network since no one in ME does it as of yet. I hope Dr Todur is able to.
