Hi Cindy. I started my journey on December 20th, 2007. (My first appt with Dr L) Been working on it since then. This is the most I've ever lost on my own! Can't wait to be able to KEEP it off now! Thanks for the prayers! Your time will get here before you know it! Take care! Ruth

Cindy, You'll find that all the "hoops" you have to jump through during this time before surgery will be well worth it once you get your surgery date....then have the actual surgery. As others have said, once you get your date, the time seems to fly by. Having had my surgery 8 months ago, I STILL can't believe it actually took place and that I've done as well as I have since having it done. You're right when you say that there is wonderful support on this site. I may not post as often as most of the others, but I DO come here everyday to give myself a good boost. It certainly helps to know you have others, like yourself, who are going through the same things and sharing ideas etc. certainly makes the road that much easier to travel.
