Hi Kaileigh, Wow, fancy "meeting" you here lol! How have you been? I think you probably remember me from SACC days --both before and beyond? I saw you in the news and in public from time to time in your duties as mayor but I didn't realize you too struggled with weight, depression etc. You always seem so confident, strong and happy to me!   Anyway, I've been contemplating weight loss surgery for about a year now... I finally worked up the courage to call Dr. Loggins office and basically was turned down because I currently have Medicare (due to not being in the workforce for a while and other issues which you can feel free to email me and we can chat if you want). So then I learned that Dr. Loggins doesn't take Medicare right now and that has been discouraging to me for sure but, I admit, a tiny bit of relief because part of me is still convinced that if I'd just put my mind to it I can do it without such drastic measures. Not opposed to it--more afraid of it--a wimp when it comes to stuff like that in fact lol.  Are you still in the Lewiston area? I'd love a walking partner if you'd like to go walking sometime. Albeit my pace isn't very fast due to the weight and the fact that I now find myself getting more easily winded than I used to. I have hypertension now and also am dealing with a lot of body aches and pains.   Anne (Leprechaun--who also posted to you on here) and I go way back from high school. Perhaps we could start a Lewiston-Auburn (and whomever else wants to attend) walking group?   Look forward to witnessing your success. Hugs, Lori

Lori, I would love to meet with you also, if you and anyone else is available. I only go into town on tues (other times too, but not on reg. basis), it is early tho, probably at 8:00.  good thing, before it gets hot in summer.  If you want a Tuesday partner, I'm open.

Hey Cheryl,  I am SOOO not a morning person lol--and it's even worse since I'm not working. But I think I can handle it lol! I'll know more this week. Am awaiting response on a potential job (won't name company yet until I know for sure) and also have a few medical appts. lined up. One on Tuesday (which means I'll be getting up earlier anyway since I have to call a cab to be at my eye doctor on upper Main St. for 10:30 AM) and also an appt. on Wednesday and a mammogram on the 13th. Let me know what ya got going for Tuesday morning and perhaps we could walk before my eye appt.? Take care, Lori

haha, well, I've got my mamo at 8:30 on Tues. but was meeting Ruth after, then having a pedicure at 12:00, I try to do things in town on TUes. cause its the only day I come into town from Poland. haha, and the next week have dr. appt in Poland at 9:30.  so after I drop off my little man in Lewiston I have to fly back to Poland.  I've got so much time, but seems like when I try and plan something I'm always busy at that time.  grrrrrrr........I guess I jumped the gun here. hehe I should be avail. after 2 weeks tho, but then you might have a job. lol  sorry,

Okay, I am stumped you will have to refresh my memory I couldn't see a pic... How did we know each other - before and after? Actually walking is okay - but I live a half hour away so it makes it tough for the gas cost commute. However, I am starting a women's book study group on the book the NEW EARTH  by Eckhart Tolle, and the class that Oprah is holding on Monday nights. I have 4 people and would like a few more. If you are familiar with the book, the class etc... or know some women who might be interested, please pass on the word. i envision, a weekly meeting with us covering 1 or 2 chapters whether the group wants to meet for 5 weeks or ten..... So let me know how I know you......
Love and light,
Kaileigh A. Tara

Brave is simply those who, knowing with the clearest vision what is before them, glory and danger alike not withstanding; GO OUT TO MEET IT.
