something wrong with my arch?? and dont' preach please..
I hear you, about family. We have had DSIL and DBIL for 2 momths over the summer /fall months 3 times. DSIL "knows" every thing, has the "best" of everything and isn't afraid to tell anyone. I found myself counting to 10 (sometimes 20) quite a bit. Plantar faciatis- not fun. One thing that really helped me was shoes with some cushion- sneakers with a seperate orthotic heal support/cushion added. I wore sneaks every day, A bit strange looking with dresses but comfort was the ruler. Stretches after your feet hit the floor in the morning are good to. Foot flat on the floor, bend your knee and lean forward to stretch out the muscles in the bottom of your foot. My treatment also included visits to the physical therapist for some type of electronic stimulation treatment and then a massage and an anti-inflamitory med. I thought I'd never be without pain and as suddenly as it came it went away. I can wear regular dress shoes again- no problems. Good Luck.
