Hang in there Cheryl. You know sometimes the bones in your foot can get out of alignment and cause pain. I have had that happen before. Then all the sudden it will just snap and is better. Could be so many things go have it checked out just for piece of mind.

I wrapped my food up yesterday with an ace bandage and it feel worse today, I have to go up a ladder to do some really high painting today.  that hurts on my toes going up the ladder.  I'm more worried about going to see Corinne on Tues.  cause I havn't been walking this week, yikes...

I hear you, about family. We have had DSIL and DBIL for 2 momths over the summer /fall months 3 times. DSIL "knows" every thing, has the "best" of everything and isn't afraid to tell anyone. I found myself counting to 10 (sometimes 20) quite a bit. Plantar faciatis- not fun. One thing that really helped me was shoes with some cushion- sneakers with a seperate orthotic heal support/cushion added. I wore sneaks every day, A bit strange looking with dresses but comfort was the ruler. Stretches after your feet hit the floor in the morning are good to. Foot flat on the floor, bend your knee and lean forward to stretch out the muscles in the bottom of your foot. My treatment also included visits to the physical therapist for some type of electronic stimulation treatment and then a massage and an anti-inflamitory med. I thought I'd never be without pain and as suddenly as it came it went away. I can wear regular dress shoes again- no problems. Good Luck.

I like that, count to 10 or 20, I got cha... I need all the help I can get. I try so hard to hold it in...  I read the information TErri sent me from the Mayo website, and it said to stretch like you said, so I am doing that and gonna wear my sneak with support and arch support, see if that helps.  I do need to go up a ladder today tho,  that was a killer last week, and I think that is why it hurts so much this week.  Thanks for the info and support.  you guys are always there, unlike other in my family.  haha, we went out to eat supper with sil and bil on Friday night, neither asked anything as to how I was feeling after my wls, NOTHING.... I should be used to that tho.... I try to support them and their kids and everyone, i've kept their family together after their parents died.  most of them don't talk.  I'm done!!!  their on their own now, I take care of the cematery, NO THANKS....I just don't want to hurt my DH...
