Emily is right. Those True Lemon, True Lime and True Orange added to water are great. Unfortunately I cannot find them around here and each place I've gone to I've asked them to order them for me but they won't. Lucky my Emily brought me quite a few when we met during my hospital stay and I plan to purchase some down in Bangor when I'm there for my 6-week follow-up Monday.
I've become fond of Kellogg's Special K2O Protein Water Mix. It comes in Iced Tea, Strawberry Kiwi, and Pink Lemonade. I prefer the Strawberry Kiwi but that's me.
I don't get the premixed bottles I get the powder packets. The premixed has sugar and the packets do not.
They have 30 calories, 0 fat, 40 mg sodium, 6 g carbohydrates, 5 g fiber, and 5 g protein.
I think you posted about this before Amber so you must really be struggling. What about protein shakes? Are you doing them? When I make them from vanilla or chocolate powder I use half milk and half frozen milk, add frozen fruit and blend. That'll make a yummy smoothie. I make them at work and when the others see them they go down the street to get ice cream. I'm loosing and most of them are gaining. LOL You can take a slim-fast and add a few ice cubes and fruit and make one that way as well. Only once have I had a straight protein shake and ewww! I knew I needed to do something different. Use any combo shake and fruit. Chocolate with strawberries or bananas. Vanilla works well with strawberries, bananas, mixed fruit, peaches, etc. Strawberry works with bananas and mixed fruits. I've even blended mandarin oranges with vanilla. You can go sooo many ways here Amber.
