Just realized I won't make my goal weight ....
Not by the timeline I had hoped for anyway! :(
My goal was to hit 100 pounds total loss by my anniversary of my initial consult on July 12th. I hit that on April 21st and thought that I was golden to hit my ultimate goal 149 (putting my BMI at the tippy-top of the normal healthy range) by my one year surgery anniversary.
Well, I was stuck bouncing around between 160 and 163 for the past 3 months until this week when I got tonsillitis and had a fever of 102.6 for a few days. Not fun, but a heck of a way to burn calories! Now I'm getting over that, and the scale said 157.8 this AM. I'll take it!!
I'm just realizing that I won't be at goal weight for my anniversary and I'm kinda bummed. I see other folks getting there and I'm not and I just really wish I was. I'm thrilled about my loss, but I know that I'll still be kinda bummed when the 24th gets here and I'm not at a healthy BMI! :(

You are SOOO close Summer!!!!! You are doing sooo well!!!!!! Don't get discouraged...you'll get there, maybe not exactly on the date you wanted to, but it WILL still happen! All of our bodies are different and we all have different amounts to lose so it's really hard to compare ourselves to others (although I still do it too!). You should be PROUD of what you have accomplished so far....AND....the best is yet to come!!!! Keep your chin up! Ruth
