Hmmm.....you sure look better than I do first thing in the morning.....people have been known to scream when they see me first thing....

Now....will you stop being so hard on yourself? You are doing great - I have come to the conclusion that the very hardest thing in this whole process is to not compare ourselves to others.....and I promise you the exercise will come when it's the right thing for you to do - to spite what the doc's timeline is.

It's weird - sometimes I feel like my program at emmc is different than anyone else's. Did they set a goal weight for you? I'm 5'6".......taking my starting weight and subtracting what Amanda told me she felt I needed to loose - would put me at 115lbs.....that to me doesn't seem right and has had me freaked out.  I'd personally be happy at anything 150 or lower.

I set my goal weight with Dayna at 170 and she thought that was very "realistic." I just started second-guessing it when at my YouTube friend Tom's suggestion, I took a look at where a BMI in the normal range would put me...which is 140. Yikes. That's why I am keeping 170 (165 really, so I have a 5 pound leeway) as my goal, but will reconsider dropping to a more normal BMI when I get there. Dayna let me keep 170, I think, because that would mean I would lose around 85% of my excess weight and that is very realistic for the RNY. But as I said in my video, that would still have me in the obese range according to my BMI. I am just going to lose as much as I can and know that I am healthier with each pound that comes off...and health, stamina and flexibility are my true goals.

Hey - I'd be happy with 170 - I didn't get input to what my goal should be....which was very discouraging to me - I can imagine 170 or 150 - I can't see me at 115.

115 lbs is definitely not right.  Maybe 155?  I am 5'6" as well.

TERRI   NO  EXERCISE   oh  come on !!!!

LOL  thought you would like that.

I  can understand   how you feel  and   yes you do know that you got to do something.   Even walking to the mail box.   Do what  Rosena  said and when you  need to go potty   walk  twice to the bathroom.   Need a drink  walk twice to the kitchen.   then you  can say you are exercising  some!!!

Makes sense to me.

You are doing great!!!

Have a great day!!!!
