Nausea patch?

So my problem keeping foods down isn't a stricture. I've been taking my compezine, which with the exception of breakfast, really helps. Breakfast I can't even keep the pill down.

What was the nausea patch some of you recommended? I'm thinking a constant supply of the med would allow for a happier tummy

Oh, Emily!  I was so sure it was a stricture and an easy fix.  I know that nausea is a complication with this surgery. I hope you get some relief soon!!   Sorry, can't help you with the nausea patch. But I am sure someone here can give you advise.  You may want to post also on the RNY board.  If you haven't already.

I think it was Kathy B that used that after her surgery.......you may want to pm her about it.

Hope you start feeling better soon!  Keep us posted, ok???
Hugs!

The plan it to go to EMMC tomorrow and get IV fliuds with vitamins and nausea meds added.  I'll go as soon as the nurse calls me with a time tomorrow morning.

Sorry you have to go through this, it's not fun - I've been there.

Stop and get the new issue of Bead and Button if you don't already have it - gorgeous flamework by Jeff Barber.

Sorry I don't know what it was called just remember Dr L  asking why they had not yet given it to me. It is for motion sickness. Which is basically what anesthesia gives me cause Im fine til I move. ooof. Hope you start feeling better soon. Oh this may help you . I just remembered these I used them when I was pregnant with my daughter. They are called Sea Bands they hit the pressure point that helps ease nausea. I put them on before I even got out of bed in the morn and kept them there all day long. I was really sick b4 I found those. Worth checking into especially after surgery.

thank you all. I will look for those sea bands.
Infusion is at 3 today. I'm taking the day off. That would be too much driving in one day to try to work, go to EMMC and home. Also the nurse said that I may be drowsy- so I have DS driving me home. "May make me drowsy"= Emily will be sleeping with the seat reclined.

I subscribe to Bead and Button. His lampwork is beautiful.  I want to make the necklace on the cover. Yeah, I'm crazy- love to bead weave with seed beads.
