3 things about you?

Give up 3 things about you we probably don't know.

1.  I need glasses so bad I can't read or hardly see.  but I'm too cheap to spend money on glasses.

2.  I have OCD about   things) like my towel in bathroom being straight or clean.  Will change it 3 to 4 times a day and washing my hands (probably 3-4 times an hour)

3. my relationship with my Mom has always been terrible.

Now this is a tough one

1. I knit, I knit badly but still I knit, just scarfs so far but I like it!

2. I can't stand my older brother and don'y speak to him any more (not very christian of me but that's between me and the big guy)

3. That I wish we had adopted another child around Dylans age or older

WOW....this is a toughy!!
1. I have significant hearing loss and wear a hearing aid (had surgery on my other ear so I could hear better...yup.....I have a "bionic" ear!  haha)

2. I have 2 pairs of glasses that I never wear just because they drive me nutty! (I've worn glasses since I was about 1 year old, so guess I've gotten tired of them!  Glad I'm not restricted on my driver's license!)  See, so now I just made myself feel guilty and put my glasses on!  haha!

3.  I'm deathly afraid of ladders!!!!!!

I would have added that I'm generally a nutcase......but I think you all ALREADY know that!  haha!

1. I dont usually spend money on myself always others.. but since surgery I getting alot better

2.Usually I base my opinion on first impressions,, sometimes Im wrong

3. I like being in control..learning to let that go.

1.  I have had a total of 6 surgeries; tonsils/adnoids, 2 c sections, gall bladder, parathyroid, and      RNY.  I don't think I  need anymore!

2.  I'm a shy person and I hate to talk on the phone.

3.  I'm very particuliar about the clothes my kids wear.  They are dressed nice everyday.  My son is not allowed to wear running pants or sweats on any other day except phys ed day and he doesn't ever wear a tshirt or printed t's to school. He either has slacks on or jeans, long sleeved or polo shirts.   A little anal I know....that's the Virgo in me...lol.

1. I was sexually abused as a child. I am totally at peace with what happened and know it wasn't my fault nor am I damaged goods. I confronted my mother's husband (that's what I call him) before surgery because I needed that closure. I've always used that for my weight excuse. It was my shield. Funny thing is I really enjoy sex. It's taken years to get to this place.

2. I am also OCD. I like things in their place and get cranky when the house gets messy. I'm learning to let go as I can't keep up with it at home when my son has friends over which is all the time!!!!

3. My relationship with my mom is rocky. She is still with my abuser. I feel she chose him over me in more than one way! No way in hell will I ever put anyone before my child!!!!!!!!!!! I have a feeling when he passes I will learn a lot more about the situations that have put walls up for us. Let's hope he goes first and not her! I know that sounds cold but that's the way I feel. One less preditor off the streets!

3. I am easily hurt, I open up to people easily and make myself vulnerable. I love and hate this quality about myself.

Hmm 3 things....

1. I haven't spoke to one of my older sisters since before my surgery (I'm thinking its been 4 years). She's an alcoholic and always called my house at 2 in the morning drunk, so I stopped answering the phone (I SO LOVE CALLER ID lol) and then finally 1 day I got tired of it and changed my unlisted number. No more phone calls. She hasn't seen me since I wore a size 24. I think if she did see me in a store she wouldn't know who I was, either from the surgery or because shes drunk.

2. I lost a baby before I got pregnant with my 8 yr old son. I was 4 months pregnant and had to have surgery to remove the baby, it had been dead for 5 weeks and my body didn't reject it. I also had to take antibiotics incase there was an infection.

3. Just like Lisa, I was also sexual abused when I was 10 &11 yrs old by my moms live in boyfriend. I told my mom when I was 15 and she didn't believe me. I had to move out when I was 15 because she wouldn't kick him out. I move home a year later when she finally kicked his a** out. I've never been close to my mom since. We speak and do things together but it's not the same as my relationship with my own children. The bonds just not there.

Sorry these are so depressing. lol
