Hello everyone.  It's been so long since I received all your encouraging words and wanted to let you know that I'm doing real well.  In spite of a cough (turned into whooping cough that my DH caught) and cold that lasted 4 weeks I have been able to slowly figure out protein requirements and water.......my goodness who knew 48-64 oz. of water could take HOURS to get down.  Have to admit I don't always make my goals but am so excited that I've lost 32 pounds since surgery making it 52 pounds total.  I still can't quite wrap my head around this yet......but have a question......how to add the ticker to my site, thought I had it figured out but must be too inept to do it, any help????   Thanks to all........Kathy

Congratulations, Kathy!!  32 lbs is right on track!  Did you go to Ticker Factory and make your ticker?   If you have done that, you would copy the picture (not the code)  and you would paste it into your signature line.  You would go to USER SETTINGS (it is on the left down the list) to go to your signature line. This is where you would also upload a picture if you wanted one as your avatar.

Congrats again on your first month!!  Keep on losing!

Hi Kathy!  Congrats on your weight loss so far!  That's awesome!!!   Don't worry....it gets easier to drink and eat the further out from surgery you are....trust me!  haha...enjoy the slowness now!

To add a ticker....create one at tickerfactory.com or where ever you've seen one you like, then copy the actual picture of the ticker. Go to user settings on the left of this screen, just under the member list, chatroom, etc....then, copy the ticker to your signature space, click save, and it should be there!    copying the code doesn't work, as far as I know!

Good luck!

Glad to hear that things are going well....except for the cough - there's been some nasty stuff going around.

They are right, it does get easier.

Kathy- It's good to hear from you. I'm sorry thatyou've had to recouperate along with having the cough. Ouch!
Good job on your weight loss. You're right- at first it takes forever to get the liquids in- sip, sip, sip

At 9 weeks out I can get the water in easier, larger swallows rather than sips.
