so for 3 days i've been looking on line to try and find a nice "MOther's of the Bride" Dress.  Wedding will be informal here at the house, but, DD will have a gown and her DH tux.  so dressing nice is good.  I dont want a LONG dress, (aug wedding) too hot. but all the short ones I find are either too sexy or too old looking or too short.  I have found 2 I like, I guess I'm being picky.  What you guys think about this one?

I love the style but personally I'd want a different color. I look like crap in brown. I have found some cute dresses online of all places WalMart. Worth a try there and Target. You will look stunning in whatever you choose!

Lisa, are you a pink and blue girl?  my sister and I always choose opposite colors, its kinda funny.  she goes for the pastels and i'm all over the browns and dark greens.  we don't go for the same styles either.  I am always looking for the new fashions and she is always wearing the same style she has worn for 40 years,  she dresses nice, don't get me wrong, same jean style (high waist, straigt leg), even the same style sneakers.  She works in a bank and wears expensive suits, but they look like the same suits she wore 30 years ago. its actually kinda funny to see us shop together, at least we don't fight over who is getting what.

Personally i like the dress, very classy without being too dressy.  I like the color also.  But I can't imagine my arms in that style...  Very pretty.

haha, my DD would live the rest of her life in sweats, so asking her isn't going to happen, lol.  she actually asks me to pick things out for her cause she has no taste at all.  I can't wait to go shopping for a wedding dress for her, I hope we don't break out into a difference in oppinion argument.  It should be fun.

me, too, but like I said "I dont care"  it will be august, and hot, I spend my days in my bathing suit all summer long, I even mow my lawn and go to store in it. so that dress covers quite a bit.  I"m not hiding in long sleeves.  Need to be proud and happy to be me.
