I'm so sorry that you have hit a road block. 

Please forgive me if I am asking a stupid question, but I am new to the boards and just starting this whole process.  Why do you have to lose 100 lbs before going to EMMC for surgery?  Is there a max weight or BMI?  I have a high BMI so I would like to know if this is an obstacle that I should expect for myself.

I had surgery at EMMC at 470 lbs I did not HAVE to loose anything before....
