Question about snacks

I plan on emailing Dana in regards to this but though I would ask you all too.  Snacks on soft protein diet?  Dana stated three meals of 3oz or 1/3 cup and then said two snacks and suggested 1 cup of milk twice a day.  My question is do snacks need to be liquid or can I have a half container of greek yogurt or cottage cheese instead of milk or 4 oz protein drink?  Any input?

You are best to ask her, but I can tell you what my nut would say. No snacks!  But of course that is not what I would do.  I would say the yogurt and cottage cheese would be fine.

Not sure what  you program allows but I was allowed to have thinned out yogurt and pudding...thinned out with milk or water to a milkshake consistency.

RNY on 11/21/07 with
depending on what you get in for protein   if you need it then do a protein shake for a snack
or yogurt or cheese or milk...  jus****ch the  carbs and make sure you are getting in your fluid.

have a great day

snacks can be anything- cheese, yogurt, a slice of deli meat, applesauce w/ some protein powder in it...... just be sure to stay within the protein range for the day.
