Oh NO! - Nuts

This is about the REAL thing.

I have become an almond addict.

I bought a container of unsalted almonds at Target. I found myself eating handfuls at work. There's 160 calories in a 1/4 cup. 3 days of this! Yikes!

So enough with the nuts for a while. I can't handle them. Today's snack was a delicious naval orange. I'm going to stash away the nuts for now.

NO,  no, no   don't call my name you almonds. I'm not listening..........I'm going to take a walk to Shaw's and buy some fruit  and yogurt during lunch hour.

I buy the raw, unsalted ones because I don't like them as well. Seems to work....  But yeah, the roasted ones, I can eat a bag full!

I have to agree, it started with a 1/4 cup in the oatmeal and now, nom nom nom, I am having the WORST time with snacking, it sucks the big one, but at least I know it's a problem and have already started to real it in I guess:)

I luvs me some almonds - cocoa roasted being my favorite....and I just bought some onion/garlic last night!

For me, I find I'm ok if I portion them out in small servings for snacks in the ziploc snack bags.

Nuts are a good source of protien, but holy cow the calories.  I was given a small bag of peanuts and it had over 300 calories in it...didn't eat them all.  But they are soooo addictive.  And trail mix is even worse....
