Toni, Dr. Aram Minasian out of Grand Blanc Adult Medicine...he's the internal med specialist that Dr. Obeid, from Hurley Bariatric Center, uses to do all of his pre-op medical screening. He's excellent! Way far away from you, in Chelsea, MI is Dr. Rebecca Patrias...she's incredible and is my PCP. Lizzie B

Oh man Toni - you totally blew my plans! I was going to ask YOU who to go to for a PCP. I don't really want to drive to Lapeer to see the doc and was so hoping that you used someone locally that I could get in to see. Guess NOT!! Well, I guess we're both shopping for a doc. I have TWO PCP's and neither of them is really informed about WLS! They really don't understand the needs of WLS patients, especially when it comes time for plastic surgery!!

Toni... I use my Dr's PA.. Karen McHenery. She calls me when she reads new things about WLS pt. in medical journals just to keep me informed. She is with Family Medicine in Midland. She is also very open to me "teaching" her things about WLS pt. GOOD LUCK! Erin PS: I should be at the Sept. meeting.. and i definitely want to be there in Nov when Dr. DiNck is talking!!!

I wish I could find one up in my neck of the woods! It would make life alot easier. Also I need to check in with someone on a couple problems. Think they are hernia's but not sure! Who did you check with?? Thanks!!!
