Look who's 3 years out!
Congratulations sweetie!!!
Welcome to the senior high club....LOL. It's been lonely up here. I am sure you are going to do great afterwards. What do you know about it? Have you talked to very many that have had it done? I heard sometimes it takes a few treatment to get the best result, but that is about all I know.
Please let me know how that goes. Does insurance cover it? I have thought this has been a problem for a little while. I think my pouch is okay, but I think my stoma is stretched. Do you know what size our stoma is suppose to be? I had an endiscope a several months back and the surgeon said my pouch looked great (not that he ever had a GB patient before...lol) but I never asked about the stoma. I think I started having trouble with weight gain a few months after I was having all of my stomach problems. I excellerated with my depression. If you need anything or just to talk you can always bend my ear. I will keep you in prayer. God Bless and take care.----Toni
Thanks Toni!
You've always been such an inspiration to me! As far as the procedure, I am looking into it now. Have only talked to one person so far who has had it done, but am looking for further info. The appt. is just my initial visit where I find out alot of things and I can ask all my questions.
I have tons. I will email you some info I found on it though. Yes, I also heard sometimes the one treatment doesn't quite do it, so you may have to go back for another, and in rare cases even three times, but have not needed any more than that. And yes, I checked the procedure code with my insurance and they cover it. I honestly don't know what size our stoma is supposed to be, but I'm sure the Dr. does.
Thanks again Toni!
Love ya, Theresa

Hey Theresa,

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY

Can you believe it's been three years already? You have been such an inspiration to so many people here. You are always so kind and have good advice and suggestions. We love you, at least I do. I hope all goes well with your appt. for possible sclerotherapy. That might help. I'm glad to see you're looking at the bright side of things and not beating yourself up over it. 100 pounds is still a lot of weight to have lost. Plus you have kept that 100 off for three years Way to go
God bless you,
Annette

Theresa,
Congrats on being 3 years out!!! What an accomplishment you have made. Not to mention the differences in others lives besides your own.
Please send me info on the sclerotherapy procedure. Let me know how it goes and I wish you the best.
Thanks for always being such a true person. That's what I love about you.
Hugs,
Connie
Congratulations, Theresa, on your year three rebirthday. As everyone else has said, you have been so inspiring and honest through this whole time, it has helped so many of us. It sounds like many older post-ops here would be interested in what you find out with the sclerotherapy information.
In spite of the struggles you have had, you just keep on going!!!!!! Good for you.
