Anyone have any information on breast implants and can you recommend a surgeon?
Hi Everyone,
It sure has been awhile since I have posted. I have been really busy! I hope everyone is doing well!!!! I am doing okay!
I need your help once again, I am thinking about getting breast implants but I need to research it and also would like to get some recommendations for a surgeon from any of you! Any websites that you may know of or any info on a surgeon in the tri city area would be nice! I would appreciate any help you can give me! It reminds me back when I was just starting to research WLS and I didn't know where to begin! You all were so helpful and supportive and for that I will be forever greatful!!!!!!!!!!
I probably won't beable to get the breast surgery for atleast a year because of the cost and also I need to save my sick leave up again (WLS kinda drained it lol). But I would like to start researching it now so I have an idea of the cost and healing time as well as all the other many questions I have!
Thanks for all the help!!!!!!!!!!!
Your WLS Pal,
Jennifer V.

Hi Jennifer;
I have breast implants with reconstructive surgery. I will not recommend a surgeon. You need to find a surgeon who has handled Bariatric Patients. A Bariatric has VERY thin skin so breat implants can not be treated the same way. Make sure they put them UNDER your muscle. Make sure they use the best implant type for your body. Go a little bit bigger than you want to be because after swelling and in about two years I will guarantee that most peole wish they would have. I am NOT happy with my breat at all. I will have mine redone but they will not be done in Michigan unless I can find someone who is a miracle worker. I spent $7000.00 and was told that I had to pay to have them repaired. Thats crap but whatever. I will pay someday to have them redone but I will do ALOT more homework than I originally did , so PLEASE do your homework and make sure they have ALOT of pictures of their work and that you are not the first bariatric patient they have ever done or the second. Thats just my two cents on the subject.
