Pain, noise, and Questions
Hi Sharmie,
I still have weird gurgles every time I eat or drink. I don't know if it will ever go away!
As for your pain, I had some too, and it lasted about 2 weeks. Things slowly got back to normal after that. I know that you have done tons of research and preparation, so you probably aren't drinking too much, but just take it slow and give things time to adjust.
I was just the opposite of most people....I could only handle really really cold drinks or I would feel nauseated.
How is the family doing? Are you getting enough rest?
Thanks for the reply everyone.
I tried the ice chops tip someone gave me today, and it worked out ok. I tried to eat some jello, and it was ok for a bit them I had to just stop. Getting the meds in is a whole nother issue for me and I don't tollerate some of them well. I need some relief somewhere.
My family is good, its a big adjustment on everyone for me to be out of commission, kids wanna be picked up, dishes and floors need doing, and although my mom is here all day every day working and cooking and taking care of the house I still see things I feel I NEED to do... I feel sad too, i think I need to get out the house, I'm tired of sitting and laying... My treadmill is screaming my name but my mom wont let me on it, shes afraid I'll over do it... and did I say I HATE my meds?..., So I can take short supervised walks outside but thats all I'm allowed, I feel tired like after I gave birth... except I don't have the cute lil baby to cuddle. I don't know if I'm dehydrated or not... how will I know? Or is what I feel normal and I just need to be patient and let some more time pass.
