I have the sickness,,,,

I rarely get sick since the WLS but this sucks. Just a bad cold. Anyone else notice less cold/flu/bronchitis/cruds since the weight loss? I'm gonna eat some S/F chocolate so at least I'll be entertained while I hack my way to better health. kp

Seems like I rarely get sick anymore but somehow, this one nailed me hard.  So hard in fact I landed in the ER twice last week with asthma, bronchitis and crud.  It's at the tail end on 2nd round of anti biotics now.  Wonder if s/f hot fudge cake from big boy would help?  lmao get well soon KP Stacey W

Hey KP!!!  Sorry to hear that you are not feeling good!  It seems that when you do get sick, you get it good and keep it a little longer than usual but YEAH it seems like I don't get the usual bronchitis I use to get every year!  Never really thought about it until you mentioned it!  Take care and get better soon!!!!

I didn't even get a cold this winter! But I have noticed that the past 3 years since I started getting flu shots in the fall that I rarely get anything over the winter. -Wanda

I noticed I hardly ever get severly sick. I used to get sinus infections alot but that was because I had a deviated septum that was fixed. Since then I hardly ever get sick. I have never had the stomach flu at all since the surgery either. But I agree that since surgery sometimes it does seem to linger a little bit longer than normal.  I hope you feel better soon!

Like you KP I am rarely sick. Even more so since my WLS. and knock on wood; so far, so good this winter. Feel better and enjoy the "chock koh latte'!!

I am on the up side of the crud myself.  This was a particularly bad strain.  I hadn't thought about SF chocolate to keep me occupied... Hope you are feeling better, Jenn
