If its the same Dr. Taylor, the one who works with Dr Wood, my stay was 3 days. Dr. Wood did my surgery but Dr. Taylor assisted with it and Dr. Taylor also did my scope. He is a good man you are in the best of hands with either of them.   Mike

If it's the same Dr. Taylor that Mike is talking about, I had him.  I had my surgery on Thursday and was suppose to go home Saturday but I endeed up being there until Sunday as my heart rate dropped a bit on Saturday afternoon.

That was 22 months ago.

He's excellent.

Hi!

I was in on Monday and out on Wed. at Harper Hosp. Dr. Taylor was great, not really impressed with the nurses at Harper - two were great, four were crummy.

Good Luck!

Sorry to hear about the poor nursing care at Harper.  I work there and had lap band (Gazayerli) but didn't have to stay inpatient.  It is a beautiful unit but of course a nice room doesn't make up for poor care. Both Taylor and Wood have very good reputations.

I didn't have Dr. Taylor but Dr. Wood.

I had surgery on Monday and out on Wednesday.  I think that's what they aim for on most of the patients.  There are ones who may have to stay for an extra day or two for various reason: fever, nausea, etc.

And Judy, I'm a little partial also I work there too.

Jeanne, glad to hear another HUH person is online.  Lets see about meeting for coffee one day to swap stories.
