Morning Deb,

I am anxiously awaiting my s/f vanilla latte from mcd's.  My husband always gets the right order, so I beg him to go for me.

QOTD:  Luckily, I didn't need to buy many clothes along my journey.  A friend was just ahead of me and I got her handmedowns.  I can tell you one thing I am dreading buying though.  A swimsuit.  I had my TT after pool season last year so I need to get a new one.  I think no matter what size I am, I will always be self critical.  We are our own worst enemy sometimes.

Oh, and I buy pretty much everything in Pink.  EVERYTHING.  I have a love of pink.

Thoughts become things... choose the good ones!

I am on my way to Biggby for whatever the flavor of the morning is-already had my slim fast in the car.

I have been buying clothes like crazy-but only markdowns.  Last weekend I bought two pairs of dress pants at Penney's-a size 14 and a size 16.  Each pair was $9.99.

I got up late this AM which seems to be happening more and more, lately.  Not so late that I'm late for work or anything, but late for me.  I like to have a whole hour in the AM before I leave.  But this morning, I didn't get up til 5:30.  I can't wait for spring break so I can sleep in for 10 days straight!!!

Since I was running late, (still left the house at my normal time) I ran through the MCD's drive through.  Got myself a coffee and a burrito.  The burrito is still sitting like a lump in my throat, though, about 2 1/2 hours later, as I try to drink my water.  UGH...

What have I bought that I wish I hadn't....hmmmmmm.  Well, I've been cleaning out closets.  I have clothes and shoes...brand new....never worn....tags still attached.  I wish I hadn't bought them!  I'm sure there are other purchases I wish I hadn't made, but they aren't standing out right now.

Here's to more shopping this weekend!  LOL!  May we have no regrets!  Enjoy the day!  Tina

Drinking my fake latte and doing my meal planning for the day... and thankful I was able to figure out how to fit popcorn into the mix for an evening snack.  :-)

QOTD --  There's lots of impulse things I've bought that I wish I hadn't... but if I look at WLS related purchases, I'd say: The Playstation 2 and Dance, Dance Revolution.  Good idea at the time to use it as a workout method... but now it's just a $250 piece of plastic that's collecting dust (and I don't even play video games on it).  I'm an outdoor girl and prefer my workouts to be in the fresh air.  Maybe I need to sell the things back to the video game store or Craigs List it or something.

Hi All,

Deb ~ hats off for keeping the daily post going!

I had my same old decaf tea this morning with a honey lemon hall in it!

QOD ~ I'm still early on in the WL journey so I haven't done a lot of shopping yet! Folks here at work are saying.............are you losing weight? Your clothes are getting big on you. I will try to take it slow with the shopping.

I plan on doing any future shopping at the Goodwill, Salvation Army or Re-Sale shops.  I'm not going to buy anything new until I'm at my goal.  Sometimes you can find some 'good stuff' at the thrift stores.  I don't have anyone to 'follow down', so there will be no hand-me-downs.  Darn.  I do have a lot of clothes that I've outgrown, so I'll be set down to about sz 16 or so.  Since I'm retired I don't really need any 'business casual' clothing.  I've got a lot of jeans and stuff.  I'll only need two or three decent outfits for when I'm in the ring showing dogs.

Hey all,

First I agree with Brenda, I am not a fungus fan.  Why would you want to eat something grown on the ground in the woods where critters poop and pee on them or in a building grown in ****  I've never understood that, I usually pick them out of everything if I can.  You guys don't have to worry about me wanting to find your hunting grounds

Ok, now that I've gotten that off my chest LOL!!

Q:  Wow where to begin LOL.  Actually I try to be as careful as I can.  Everything I have bought post op has either been on clearance or at the thrift store.  But I don't think we will  be able to go to the thrift stores for my hubby, he's 6'6", I highly doubt they have tall man's section!     But we do impulse buy way to often, we have no children, so we tend to spoil each other.
When I feel that I'm at my goal, I will probable go a bit crazy, but not until then!
