Good afternoon all

Grandma came through her hip replacement surgery just fine.  The hospital has wireless internet and I have my little netbook with me, so I'm able to get some homework done while I visit with her.  Thank you all for your good thoughts, prayers and well wishes.

QOTD - The wellness program at work offered free seasonal flu shots to employees in September, so I've got mine already.  No flu here either.  Haven't gotten H1N1 yet, but will likly get it when it's available.

Have a good day all
Pam

Glad to hear Grandma came through surgery well.  She's in my prayers for a speedy recovery.

Oops... also wanted to give an update on Kristy.  I stopped to see her this morning (we're all in the same hospital today).  She's feeling pretty good and thinking she'll get to go home on Friday.  The antibiotics seem to be doing the trick.

Hi everyone!

Hey I thought it was supposed to rain today but so far it's beautiful.  Had scrambled eggs for breakfast for a change.  Will have to have my protein shake a little later.

I got my flu shot earlier this month at my doctor's office.  At the time she said it was not being recommended for me.  I think that was an 'old lady' reference (haha) but I didn't ask for sure.

It's such a relief to hear Kristy is getting better.  The hospital is no fun but it is reassuring to have some who knows what they're doing around.

I'm thinking of those having surgery soon today and wishing them continued success.

Hey y'all,

Now that it's 2:30, my coffee is well gone as well as lunch, but I made it here :)

Q:  I've been fighting something for most of the month, it's driving me crazy.  I got my flu shot (my pulmonologist made me at this office) and a few of my docs are insisting that I get the H1N1 because I have an odd thing going on w/ my lungs and I work at a medical facility.  I don't have direct patient care, but all the employees that come into my office and eat lunch in our kitchen do, so I'll be getting that when I can figure out where to go, and of course get over this current cold.

Have a great day and good luck tomm Mary.

Thanks Edie.
