I have BCN as well and not only did they cover the skin removal from my stomach they also covered the skin removal from my arms and they actually did it without any hassle. Now to be honest, the insurance coordinator at my plastic surgeons office was very surprised they covered my arms she stated that of 8 years of her doing that job she had never seen them cover arms so I really lucked out on that not sure what made my situation so different but I'm thankful for it.

HI!!!! Pre op diet is craze! You can do it. Get busy. Clean, dust, walk, read just
do something to get your mind off of it.

is it normal to be very moody and unsure before your surgery? if anyone else went through this how did you manage and cope. I have just been on edge the last week and the closer it gets the more i question myself is this what I realy want to do? I am still going to go through with it. it's just that I have never had this strong of emotions before.

Welcome to the MI Forum! I took and scheduled surgery this month. I am having my surgery on April 17th, just a week before you! What type of surgery are you having? I am having the Duodenal Switch with Dr. Kemmeter in Grand Rapids.
Good luck - it won't be long now before we are on the losing team!
