I am getting ready to be sleeved on Feb 29 by Dr. Foote. So far everyone in his office has been great, I am using his office he has in Grand Haven, MI He goes between there and Grand Rapids. And so does the staff. I will let you know as I go how things are going. Wednesday I start the preop liquid for two weeks,,,, Then surgery, while alittle less then two weeks.

Dr. Birkmeyer did my surgery at U of M. I think they have a great program. They have a lot of doctors involved - endocrines that do follow-ups and a great nutritionist along with the Hunger Within Program. They have three support group meetings every month and have different U of M docs come and lots of other speakers and activities. Feel free to e-mail me if you have specific questions. I do a lot of stuff with U of M and I probably would have had my RNY done there as well, however at that time my insurance would only cover for me to go to Hurley in Flint..... Sorry I couldn't help you, but the services and doctors I have dealt with there have been amazing....
