I'm new here and just wanted to say HI and introduce myself! My name is Fran. I'm 34, married and living in Oakland County. I am currently waiting for approval for gastric bypass. My surgeon is Dr. Edelman at Harper Hospital. I am hoping to make friends here. I think it will be helpful to be able to talk to people who are going through the same thing I am. Congrats on everybodys weight loss!
VSG Aug. 30, 2011 HW 266 SW 249 GW 166 lbs.
I can tell you that it's all worth it. I have had no complications, and things have gotten much easier in the past couple months.
HW:306; Pre-op:288; SW:274; CW:131; GW:138
I had a VSG with Dr. Foote in July of 2010 and have lost 102lbs. I could still stand to lose another 12 lbs or so, but I'm at a weight I'm comfortable with and that I'm finding is easy for me to maintain.
I've been VERY happy with my treatment at GHP and would recommend them highly. I'm in Orangeville, MI (about halfway between Kalamazoo and Grand Rapids).
