We went to Kronks and you stayed over night at my house with me and my girls.

I need you. I miss you so much and I need my "angel" back. I am trying to get back on track and I need you in my life.

Scott, I had Aetna when I had my surgery. Only needed 6 months,  and Aetna
gave us a nurse to help coordinate things. Get a note book and a brand new
pen, Call your Primary care, find out how many times and dates you spoke
with them about weight loss and what they recomended for you. Write down
any and all medications you had taken including Rx and Over the counter.
I am sure that you have used atleast 1 other diet plan in your whole life.
write it down with dates, Call Aetna and get a coordinator. They will talk you
through it.
You need comorbidities. High blood pressure, diabites, lyphmidema, Sleep
apnea. There are others also.
Dont give up. Call Aetna and get that coordinator so you are not missing
anything. Very frustrating to go to your doctor once a month to talk about
weight loss and they didnt document it. So you have to start over.

The Shake diet at Beumont, Is it still the HMR shakes? When I looked at
the ingredients they had a lot of sugar in them. So they were setting me
up to fail with thier shake business.

I just came across this site for OH and found this thread.  I too had Dr. Chengelis.  He is absolutely WONDERFUL.  I had to go thru the Weight Control Center, but they weren't pushing for Dr. Krause.

I had my surgery in November 2010.  I have lost 170 pounds with 12 being just recently after having skin removal surgery.  I'm much happier and healthier than I've ever been.  It's a wonderful feeling and yet so foreign at the same time.  I went from a size 26/28 and am now in a size 6 - 8.  It's awesome.  Since surgery, I have run three 5K races (which my first one was just shy of my one year anniversary of surgery) and I ran a 10K race just recently.  My goal now is to run a 1/2 marathon.  My plan is NEVER to go back.  I pray that with this forum I will find new support to add to my support system.

The barix clinc is in Ypsilanti. And Dr Farhan decided that because I was diagnosed as having borderline personality disorder 13 yrs ago that he felt I wasn't a good canidate, even though I have been stable for a number of yrs. So I decided I would try one more time at a different place. And Dr Poplawski was more than understanding and with having an exicellent Pysch eval.  He seen no problem with proceeding.
