Have you ever blamed anyone or anything else for your obesity?
My answer: yes, during the years, I have blamed several things and people. The first thing was Diabetes type I. I blamed the weight gain on the insulin, which is ridiculous. Its barely a contributing factor. Then I blamed post traumatic stress syndrome due to issues in the past. Bad marriage, bad husbands, bad bosses. The list goes on.
Finally, I forgave myself, and then acceptance. The key to forgiveness is NOT TO BLAME. That is a hard one, huh?

ARe you taking Dry Vitamin D3? Rny patients cant absorb the ones made with
oil. I use Proterra Brand.
Try increasing your dry D3 to atleast a 5000iu 2x daily.

Yes there are! We have historically met throughout the summer! We meet every 2nd Monday evening at the Gilmore Center of Bronson Hospital, from 7-8PM. You are very welcome to attend!

We absorb it best as "dry D3." Some suppliers will charge through the nose but I get good results with the tablets (NOT the gel caps full of oil) from Nature Made or any of the other mass market brands.
I take 6000 in the winter and 4000 in the summer in addition to the D in my calcium citrate tablets. My numbers are consistently in the low end of normal. Again, look in te bottle and only take the little white tablets.

Sounds good to me. Is it open to everyone or just Barix patients? I am one, been trying to get to this meeting since fall but it seems like something happens every month. Been trying to behave myself, need support from compliant people that are further out.

It is a little further to drive, but maybe we can start a car pool group. I live out north of the prisons and I am willing to drive out every month as long as I can get to the meeting and if there is a group of three or more and we all pitch in $5.00 a month for gas, I will pick up from a general pick up spot.

Hello,
Can weight loss surgery patients absorb Vit D3? I have been taking 4000mg of Vit D3 for a year and my levels are still low. I am 9 years post-op.
Any idea's??
