Determination and Progress!
Hello all: This morning I decided that I would press the Doc's office for some answers. I guess it was more of a follow-up. They had a TEAM meeting re: my case yesterday!!!!! I have to attend the rest of my meetings (one with the NUT and 2 more with the physicians assistant) and a support group meeting. Sometime soon I will meet with Dr. Medlin. The woman (insurance lady) says that everything looks like it is a go. Just a couple of small steps and I'll get a date. For all of you that are determined to have this surgery * please do follow-up. Don't wait for someone to do it for you. It's snowing here in Superior - AGIAN

Yes it nice getting news, especially when it's good news. Oh, I'm glad to hear the Dr. Medlin is nice. I know that he spoke at the very first information session that I attended in Duluth. I attended another in Superior, but a Doc. was not there. I feel that I'm finally on my way to a new life. I'm still learning, but have gained a lot of smarts through these forums. I have been trying out some protein drinks and have ordered some interesting products as well. I have been told that a person's taste may change after surgery. Ha! I have not been able to taste nor smell since 1976. Well, you take care and thanks for chatting.
