How 'bout.. "I appreciate your concern, but my doctor is THRILLED with my weight loss, and if it's all the same to you, I'm going to trust his professional opinion. You'll just have to get used to me this way." It's true, it's direct, it puts them in their place without being biotchy.

Hey sweet Sandie, I sure can relate to the unfiltered idiocies of (hopefully well-meaning people.) Just consider the source, and hold your head high, and go with your positive support such as this amazing board! AND, I haven't been to FVSD WLS clinic since my once-year appointment in August, and I, too, had finally made it to "The Board!" We hold each other up here, and the heck with the turkeys! Keep on a' taking care of you! Hugs galore, Patti, who just can't wait to meet you! Comin' to the Hopkins coffee on the 19th?

to her. I hope she understood what you were saying to her about had she never seen you big, she wouldn't notice you had lost so much weight. You look GREAT and I wanna look like you some day. Well, not gonna happen, but still wanna. *S* Love you girlie and know that your doc knows what he's doing and saying, she doesn't .
