Little Wow

So, I started this journey almost a month ago in a size 26 jeans.  Well, those got too big for me two weeks ago, so I went to Lane Bryant and bought one pair of 24's to get me through for a while.  So we're going to Florida on Saturday, and I go to Target this morning but buy 1 pair of cropped jeans and two cropped pants size 22 FOR THIS SUMMER.  Just for fun when I got home I tried them on.....AND THEY FIT!!!!  So now I actually do have something to wear in Florida. The thing is, my brain says it's not me shrinking, it's the weird sizing of different manufacturers.  It just can't be true.  This is fun though.  Gotta work on my brain.

Sandy that's great! Before you know those inches will start flying off. I have some size 22 capri's and pants if you want them. I'm not sure I'll be a support group next week, but maybe coffee.

I had the same experience this morning!   I started in a size 26/28 2 months ago and I picked up a pair of pants that friend gave me and they fit with room to spare they were a size 22!!!   I told myself too it had to be a mistake in the size.

Sandy, repeat after me -  "There is no such thing as a 'little Wow'!"  Repeat as needed.

Going from 26's to 22's is a BIG DEAL!!   I mean, how long had you been in 26's, for cryin' out loud???  DO YOUR HAPPY DANCE!!!  There are some differences in clothing sizes.  I can wear some 18's comfortably, even tho a few 20's are still snug!  Hardly matters, does it?  IT'S ALL GOOD!!!!

Thank you!! I will work on your advise: "There is no such thing as a 'little Wow'!"   And I will practice my HAPPY DANCE,  it's a little rusty.

It's not the manufacturer, YOU ARE SHRINKING! Keep telling yourself that too. I know it's a hard thing to say, but I keep telling myself too. Keep up the good job!

Way to go!  Now don't get too excited and buy any more size 22's.  Because before you know it, you'll creep into the 20s, 18, and 16's!!!!  I didn't think it was possible, but it is.  Now if clothing designers would only create bigger hip and butt size clothing in a 12.  I guess I can dream! As said before, this isn't a little wow.  This is a BIG WOW!  Enjoy it!  Many more to come! KellyAnn
