My 'mum-in-law' is very ill.

Thanks, CheriLynn, for your prayers and such comforting words. Anna is all about loving God, and trusting Him completely in all things.

My prayers go out to you and your mother in law.  I donated a kidney to my mother October 2005.  Did not want her to have to go through dialysis.  She is doing pretty good.  I am fine.  I live as normally as I ever have......they did it laproscopically, so it would be a speedy recovery for you, if you are a match.  The first thing they will do is see if you have the same blood type, then they would go from there........assure her.........there really isnt much of a risk to you, and you will be up and about in no time at all!   What a wonderful gift to give to her if she will accept it.

How awesome is it that you were able to give your mom a kidney!  Truly a gift of life! My MIL has refused my offer. At 78, she says she has lived a good life, and that I might need my kidneys myself in the future.  She is putting her life in God's hands.
